Working on documentaries is always a pleasure. I love the opportunity to dig deep into the subject and learn about it.
The good people from Worship studio in Toronto invited me to help in another mind-blowing project. I was asked to do the animation on some graphics and texts they designed for Rat Park, a documentary from the Director Shawney Cohen's Dry for VICE Agency.
Working under the clinical eye of Director Rafael Ruiz, I animated the Main Title texts, Title card, L3s, Locations, Over GFX, and the Graphics.
Apart from that, it was also my job to give a visual treatment to the graphics and maintain the aesthetics and vision of the director.
The briefing for the animation was pretty much "No mograph-style animations and more like old computer animations". I did a brief research on the subject and applied the animation style, as well as the treatment of the graphics.
